The remains of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old Philadelphia woman missing for two weeks, have been found.

On Monday (October 20), officials confirmed that Scott's remains were discovered buried in a shallow grave behind an abandoned school in East Mount Airy, per CNN. An anonymous tip led investigators back to the wooded area, which had been searched previously.

“Go back, she’s there, look again," the tip reportedly said.

Keon King, 21, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping, stalking, and related offenses in connection with Scott’s disappearance. Prosecutors said homicide charges are expected.

“I am confident that homicide charges will be brought,” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said in a statement.

Scott was last seen leaving her job at an assisted living facility on October 4. Scott's family said she had been receiving harassing phone calls in the days leading up to her disappearance. Prosecutors allege King and Scott had cellphone contact before she went missing. Investigators also believe Scott may have been in a vehicle tied to King, which was captured in surveillance photos released to the public.

Earlier this year, King was arrested in another kidnapping and assault case, but was released on $200,000 bail after the charges were dropped due to witnesses failing to appear in court.

Scott's case remains under investigation. Toczylowski said authorities believe others may have helped cover up the crime.

King's bail has been set for $2.5 million.
