Tropical Storm Gabrielle has formed in the central Atlantic.
As of the 11:00 a.m. advisory, the National Hurricane Center says, while it is poorly organized, it is centrally located about 1,085 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 45 miles-per-hour.
It is moving toward the north-northwest near 22 miles-per-hour and will continue to remain at sea for days.
Forecasters don't believe it will drastically strengthen over the next 48 hours, but it could intensify over the weekend.
At this time, it is expected to curve away from Florida.
